Defence ministers of Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss future cooperation prospects

On May 28, Azerbaijan’s Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, held talks with Türkiye’s Minister of National Defence, Yaşar Güler, who is currently on an official working visit to Azerbaijan.

The meeting reaffirmed confidence that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, rooted in mutual trust and support, will continue to develop successfully, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Defence Ministry.

The strategic alliance between the two countries was highlighted as being founded on friendly and brotherly relations.

Discussions focused on the future development of cooperation across military, military-technical, and military-educational fields, emphasising the importance of further expanding collaborative efforts in these areas.
