Defence ministry: Azerbaijan-Türkiye ties based on friendship, mutual trust PHOTO

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Defence Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, on an official visit to Türkiye, has met with Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Metin Gurak.

“The Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations are built on friendship and mutual trust. Cooperation between our countries is one of the main factors ensuring stability in the region,” the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

In conclusion, the prospects for the development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye and several issues of mutual interest were discussed.
