Defence Ministry enrolls in Basic Naval Commando Course
Conscripts under the age of 28, who have completed secondary education, have completed compulsory active military service and who wish to voluntarily enroll in the Basic Naval Commando Course of the Azerbaijan Navy, can apply with documents to the admissions committee operating at the Navy Headquarters until November 25, 2023.
Citizens who have applied for enrollment in the Basic course of naval commandos are sent by the admissions committee to the Navy clinic to determine the degree of suitability for military service, Caliber.Az reports, citing the press service of the Defence Ministry.
Persons taller than 170 cm, recognized by the decision of the military medical commission as fit for military service, are allowed to participate in the entrance exams. The course will enroll candidates who successfully pass exams aimed at assessing their physical fitness, general level of knowledge, professional interests, as well as swimming skills, thinking, communication, leadership and decision-making abilities, personal-psychological and other qualities. The duration of the course is four months.
A contract is concluded with citizens who successfully complete the course for a period of 3 years, they are appointed to positions in accordance with their qualifications.
Documents must be submitted to the address: Baku city, Garadag District, Puta military town (Navy headquarters). Application deadline: until November 25, 2023, daily (except Sundays) from 09:00 to 18:00.
Applications from military personnel transferred to the reserve from long-term active military service in accordance with paragraph “e” of Article 156 of the Regulations “On Military Service” (due to service inconsistency) or convicted, regardless of the terms of expiration of the criminal record, will not be accepted.
