Deputy FM: Armenia, Azerbaijan have differences over text of peace agreement

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan has said that Armenia and Azerbaijan still have certain disagreements.

“Armenia and Azerbaijan still have certain disagreements on the text of the peace agreement, but the work on the document is underway,” Kostanyan said, according to 24News.

“Armenia is ready to sign and implement an agreement on the normalisation of relations and the establishment of peace. Regarding Azerbaijan’s position, as we said before, there are still some disagreements,” he stressed.

He expressed hope that the sides will be able to agree on a text and the work in this sphere is underway.

“The sides try to bring their positions closer at each meeting,” Kostanyan added.
