Deputy FM: Peace negotiations should be based on five points
“After the Brussels meeting and as a result of the processes that preceded this meeting, there is confidence that the Armenian side agreed to the peace agreement process, as well as to the delimitation. The negotiation process should take place on the basis of the five points we proposed to Armenia.”
Report informs, this was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov.
“We proceed from the fact that it is not advisable to start the process with some preconditions, this means a violation of the process itself.
Despite the fact that there are certain protests from the opposition in Armenia, nevertheless, the government of this country has not abandoned this process. As for the activities of the working groups, their activities in connection with the unblocking of communications continue at the level of deputy prime ministers.”
