Drones, small arms and melee weapons of Azerbaijan at IDEF-2023

“Azerbaijan showcased 133 items of military products at the IDEF-2023 International Defense Industry Exhibition in Istanbul this year, and great interest was shown to our stand in fraternal Turkey.”

Lt-Col Nadir Aliyev, chief consultant of the Department of Military-Technical Cooperation under the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan, told Report's Turkish bureau about this.

Nadir Aliyev noted that the modernized products of the defense industry of Azerbaijan were showcased at the exhibition: “In general, unmanned aerial vehicles, various types of small arms, all types of projectiles with a caliber of up to 30 millimeters, as well as close combat weapons produced at the enterprises of our ministry were presented at the stand of our country.”

The employee of the ministry noted that Azerbaijan's stand was of interest not only to representatives of Türkiye, but also to delegations from other countries.

The 16th International Defense Industry Exhibition, which was attended by Azerbaijani Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, was held on July 25-27 at the TÜYAP Congress Center in Istanbul (Türkiye).
