Dutch ambassador briefed on scale of mine problem in Azerbaijan

The Chair of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Vugar Suleymanov, has met with the Ambassador of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan, Marianne De Jong, during which the mine threat in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories was discussed.

The ambassador was also briefed on the scale of the mine problem in Azerbaijan, the difficulties it causes, as well as the progress of humanitarian demining operations in Karabakh and East Zangazur, Caliber.Az reports, citing ANAMA.

The sides also exchanged views on opportunities for further cooperation between the two countries in addressing the mine threat.
