EFES-2026 drills: Seizure of simulated enemy vessel successfully executed VIDEO

Multinational forces participating in the EFES-2026 joint military exercises in Türkiye have successfully completed a new phase involving the simulated capture of an enemy vessel.

As part of the operational scenario, airborne units from participating countries practised boarding and seizing a target ship. Assault teams approached the vessel via attack helicopters and rapidly landed on its deck, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.

The operation was carried out with what officials described as high professionalism and coordinated action, resulting in full control of the vessel, neutralisation of the crew, and securing of the onboard environment.
