Envoy: Azerbaijan strengthens cybersecurity talent through joint initiative with Israel
The Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Centre is playing a key role in developing high-level human capital, according to Israel’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Ronen Krausz, who spoke at the Center’s 6th graduation ceremony.
The ambassador highlighted that the Centre functions not only as a training institution but also as a symbol of vision and investment in people, emphasising the importance of knowledge in today’s technological landscape, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
He noted that the collaboration between Azerbaijan and Israel reflects a shared understanding that cybersecurity has evolved beyond a purely technical field to become a strategic pillar for national security, economic resilience, and technological development.
Krausz praised the Centre’s achievements, pointing to the successful training of hundreds of specialists and their placement in key roles across both public and private sectors. He described these developments as a clear demonstration that Azerbaijan is investing not only in infrastructure but also in top-level human capital.
