Envoy: Bangladesh considers opening embassy in Baku, eyes strengthened ties

Bangladesh is exploring the possibility of establishing an embassy in Azerbaijan, said Amanul Haq, non-resident Bangladeshi ambassador to Azerbaijan, residing in Ankara.

Ambassador Haq said that during a recent visit to Baku, he held discussions with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Caliber.Az reports via local media.  

The talks focused on the potential establishment of a Bangladeshi embassy in Azerbaijan and, reciprocally, an Azerbaijani embassy in Bangladesh.

The ambassador further highlighted that the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on avenues for enhancing bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
