Envoy: Netherlands ready to share alternative energy experience with Azerbaijan
The Netherlands is ready to share its experience in the field of offshore wind energy development with Azerbaijan.
Dutch Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pauline Eizema told Trend about this.
"At the moment, the Netherlands offers its expertise in this area. We have developed several offshore projects and we really want to share our knowledge with Azerbaijan," Eizema said.
According to her, the World Bank (WB) will organise a study tour in September 2022, in which the Netherlands will also take part. She noted that the tour will include several countries, including Germany.
"I am looking forward to welcoming the Azerbaijani delegation to participate in this study tour. In addition, the Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC 2022), dedicated to offshore energy, which will be held in Amsterdam in November, is also a good opportunity for Azerbaijan to participate in master classes in this area. We will talk with the Azerbaijani government and offer to send a delegation there," the ambassador added.
The roadmap for offshore wind energy, developed jointly by the Azerbaijani Energy Ministry, the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, promises very successful cooperation with Azerbaijan, she noted.
