Envoy: UK, Azercosmos seek new ways of cooperation

UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld has said that the 74th International Astronautical Congress in Baku will contribute to the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UK in the space sector.

"Great Britain and Azercosmos have been cooperating and exchanging experience for many years. I hope that the International Astronautical Congress will help expand cooperation between our countries in the space sector and create new opportunities," he wrote on social network X, Caliber.Az reports.

The 74th Baku International Astronautics Congress is being held in Baku, which is organized in partnership with the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azerkomos) and the International Astronautical Federation.

The event is attended by representatives of space agencies, the public sector, investors and private companies in the space sector, representatives of local and international media, in total more than 5,000 people from 101 countries.

At the International Astronautical Congress, 150 companies are represented in the exhibition pavilion.

The International Congress of Astronautics will last until October 6.
