Envoy: UK highly values developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in defence sector
British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Duncan Norman visited Martyrs' Alley in Baku on June 26 to mark Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Day, paying tribute to those who lost their lives defending the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a message posted on social media platform X, the ambassador said the visit was intended to honour the memory of those who had dedicated their lives to Azerbaijan's defence, Caliber.Az reports.

"On Azerbaijan's Armed Forces Day, I visited Martyrs' Alley and paid my respects to the memory of those who dedicated their lives to Azerbaijan's defence. " The UK highly values the developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in the defence sector and is determined to further strengthen our partnership," Norman wrote.
The ambassador also reaffirmed the United Kingdom's commitment to expanding defence cooperation with Azerbaijan, describing bilateral ties in the sector as steadily developing.
