Erdoğan: I wholeheartedly congratulate people of Azerbaijan on Victory Day
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan marked the fifth anniversary of Azerbaijan’s victory in the 2020 Karabakh war with a message celebrating the occasion and honouring those who lost their lives in the struggle.
In a post on X, Erdoğan described the 2020 victory as a “magnificent and tremendous achievement” that ended the 30-year occupation of Karabakh, Caliber.Az reports.

He expressed deep respect and mercy for the Azerbaijani soldiers who died in the Patriotic War, referring to them as the brave sons of Azerbaijan.
