Turkish president salutes Azerbaijan in heartfelt Republic Day message
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan extended his heartfelt gratitude to a number of friendly and fraternal nations, including Azerbaijan, for their congratulatory messages on the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
Erdoğan shared a message on the social media platform X, accompanied by the flags of the countries and international organizations that sent their greetings, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
In his message, Erdoğan stated: “On behalf of the Turkish people, I thank all the states and international organizations that congratulated us on the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Republic, and for their kind wishes. I also send my greetings and love to Turkish Cypriots, members of the Turkish diaspora around the world, and to our brothers, friends, and allies.”
Notably, among the flags displayed, Azerbaijan’s tricolor appeared second only to that of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, symbolically underscoring the deep fraternal ties and special relationship between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
Cumhuriyetimizin 102’nci yaşını tebrik eden, ülkemize güzel temennilerini ileten tüm ülkelere ve uluslararası kuruluşlara milletim adına teşekkür ediyorum.
