EU delegation visits Azerbaijan’s Aghdam, Fuzuli PHOTO

A delegation from the European External Action Service (EEAS) has visited the Azerbaijani districts of Aghdam and Fuzuli to observe ongoing reconstruction and demining activities, according to Emin Huseynov, Aide to the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan and Special Representative of the President in the region.

In a statement posted on X, Huseynov said the Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service, together with accompanying officials, travelled to the liberated territories to review progress on large-scale restoration efforts.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on ongoing infrastructure rebuilding, urban redevelopment projects, and mine clearance operations aimed at enabling safe resettlement and economic recovery.
