EU observers resume activity on Armenian-Azerbaijani border, prompting suspicion of espionage PHOTO/VIDEO
The European Union’s reconnaissance and observation mission along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has resumed its activity, raising concerns about potential espionage.
A video obtained by local media shows the EU observers operating in two Toyota vehicles as they approached the border area between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.
The footage captures the observers using binoculars to survey Azerbaijani territory in the Gazakh region.
The heightened activity did not go unnoticed by Azerbaijan’s State Border Service, which remains on high alert. Azerbaijani border guards are closely monitoring the movement of the EU "observers" as they continue to keep watch over the sensitive border area.
While the EU mission is officially tasked with monitoring the situation along the border, this latest development has sparked suspicion regarding the true nature of the observers’ operations. The situation is being closely watched as tensions remain high in the region.
