EU official calls for continued efforts to normalize Azerbaijan-Armenia ties
The European Union's efforts to support the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia must continue, according to the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono.
Grono shared her views in a recent post on social media platform X, highlighting that she had just concluded two days of intensive meetings in Prague, per Caliber.Az.
She expressed gratitude to her Czech colleagues, particularly Minister Jan Lipavsky, for their warm welcome and the open exchange of views on the South Caucasus.
Grono emphasized the importance of continuing the EU's efforts to facilitate the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
She also underscored the significance of the recent statements made regarding the completion of peace treaty negotiations.
Stressed the need to continue 🇪🇺 efforts in support of 🇦🇲-🇦🇿 normalisation and reiterated importance of last week's announcements on finalisation of peace treaty talks.
