FM Bayramov highlights Azerbaijan’s role in Europe's energy diversification PHOTO
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has delivered a speech at the Ambassadors’ Conference during his working visit to Belgrade, where he discussed key aspects of the country's strategic partnership with Serbia.
FM Bayramov touched upon the political, economic, energy and humanitarian aspects of the Azerbaijan-Serbia strategic partnership, as well as common regional challenges, including double standards, selective application of international law, Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
Importance of upholding sovereignty and territorial integrity principles which guide foreign policy of both countries was emphasized.
Minister Bayramov also comprehensively talked about Azerbaijan's critical role in energy diversification of Europe, as well as future green energy plans to link Europe and Central Asia through Caspian and Black Sea basins.

As part of his visit to Belgrade, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Serbian counterpart Marko Djurić had a meeting in an expanded format to discuss political, economic, energy, humanitarian and other aspects of strategic partnership between the two countries.
Security concerns were also a key focus of the discussions, the ministry said.
Both sides expressed their contentment with the mutual support for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as fruitful cooperation within the framework of regional and international platforms.
Foreign Minister Bayramov also informed his counterpart about the ongoing peace and normalization process with Armenia and the remaining challenges in front of the peace agenda.

Addressing a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Belgrade, Foreign Minister Marko Djurić underlined Serbia's interest to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in the coming year.
"Serbia aims to strengthen cooperation with Azerbaijan in 2025," Foreign Minister Djurić announced.
Minister Djurić also affirmed Serbia's keenness to host the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council between the two countries in Belgrade, further highlighting the commitment to enhancing bilateral ties in the coming year.
