Azerbaijan-French talks focus on EU ties, regional security

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held talks with his French counterpart, Jean-Noël Barrot, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, to discuss Azerbaijan-EU relations.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry announced the meeting in a post on X, Caliber.Az reports.

“On the sidelines of UNGA81, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France.

The Ministers reviewed the bilateral agenda, discussed Azerbaijan–EU relations, and exchanged views on key regional and international issues, including the regional security situation and matters of mutual interest,” the post by the ministry reads.
