FM Bayramov holds top-level meetings in Morocco

Within the framework of his official visit to Morocco on November 13, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Salim bin Mahammad al-Malik, Director General of the IslamiC World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (ISESCO).
According to the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan, the sides discussed bilateral cooperation agenda & joint projects to promote a tolerance and dialogue among cultures.
Bayramov sat for talks also with the Chairman of the Moroccan House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Al Alami.
Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, that Minister Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the current level of friendship and partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Morocco and highlighted the prospects for the development of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries.
He emphasized the importance of intensifying the activities of the Morocco-Azerbaijan friendship group and the interparliamentary contact group. Bayramov said there is great potential for the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, and the intensification of mutual visits and political consultations will stimulate the development of cooperation between the two countries in the economic, humanitarian, educational, tourism and other spheres.
The minister also informed Al Alami about the 30-year Armenian occupation of the territories of Azerbaijan, the post-conflict period, restoration and reconstruction work on lands liberated from occupation, Azerbaijan’s plans for establishing sustainable peace in the South Caucasus, and practical steps taken in this direction.
During the meeting, the parties also emphasized that strengthening the legal framework between Azerbaijan and Morocco will serve to develop cooperation in new promising areas.
