Foreign IT workers to not require working permit for employment in Azerbaijani companies

Citizens of foreign countries and stateless people will not require a working permit for employment in Azerbaijan’s IT companies.

As APA reported, this has been included in a suggestion for changes to the migration codex, which has been discussed during a summit of the Committee on economic politics, industry and enterprises within the Milli Majlis (parliament) on December 19.

Together with the above-mentioned clause, the suggestion also includes a change to the law regarding social insurance, recommending to liberate foreigners and stateless people from making mandatory payments for state social security.
