France: All steps taken to re-establish Azerbaijani embassy's security
France's Foreign Ministry has stated that the government has taken all measures to ensure the security and normal functioning of the Azerbaijani embassy in the country after the recent Armenian attacks.
French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Zacharie Gross wrote about this on his official Twitter account, Caliber.Az reports.
"French MFA: We deplore the unacceptable incidents that targeted the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Paris. The French authorities have taken all measures to re-establish the security of the Embassy and enable it to function normally. They remain vigilant so that such incidents do not occur again," the ambassador wrote.
On September 19, Gross was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, where he was handed a note of protest over the attack on the Azerbaijani embassy in France. Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov informed the opposing side that the attack by a group of radical extremist forces of the Armenian Diaspora in France on the Azerbaijani embassy in Paris is a gross violation of French laws and generally accepted norms of international law.
