French, Azerbaijani diplomats hold talks on bilateral relations
Azerbaijani and French diplomats held comprehensive discussions in Baku on bilateral relations and regional issues, according to French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sophie Lagoutte.
Bertrand Buchwalter, the French President’s diplomatic counsellor for continental Europe, and Brice Roquefeuil, director for continental Europe at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Hikmet Hajiyev, head of the foreign policy affairs department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, and Elchin Amirbayov, the president’s representative for special missions, Caliber.Az reports.

Lagoutte described the talks as “comprehensive and fruitful,” noting that the meeting aimed to strengthen the bilateral bond between the two countries following recent meetings between Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Emmanuel Macron.
