French envoy thanks Azerbaijan for assistance in evacuation from Iran

France’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Sophie Lagoutte, has thanked the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry for its assistance in evacuating a French citizen from Iran.

Writing on X, Lagoutte expressed gratitude for  the ministry’s effective and rapid support in facilitating the evacuation, Caliber.Az reports.

Between February 28 and March 2, a total of 312 people were evacuated from Iran via the Azerbaijani border. Those evacuated included citizens of dozens of countries, among them France.
