French government condemns Iranian drone attack on Nakhchivan
The French government has strongly condemned the drone attack on Nakhchivan International Airport.
According to AZERTAC, the statement was published on the website of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The statement notes that on the morning of March 5, 2026, Nakhchivan International Airport was targeted by Iranian drones, resulting in injuries to four people.

Official Paris expressed its strongest condemnation of the attack and wished a speedy recovery to the victims.
France also voiced full solidarity with Azerbaijan, describing the drone attack as a clear violation of Azerbaijan’s sovereignty and international law. The French government called the attack “unjustified and unacceptable,” reiterating the importance of maintaining regional stability and respect for international norms.
