General: Azerbaijani army completely switches to Turkish format

Head of the Azerbaijani Military Academy named after Heydar Aliyev Major-General Fuzuli Salahov  has said that the Azerbaijani army had completely switched to the Turkish format.

Training, programs, equipment, and staff structure, management is already in a new format,” APA reports. 

He noted that the exchange of experience in the military sphere with Türkiye continues today:

“Training has been underway on new programs for more than a year. We believe that this model of education will be more powerful and effective. Future officers will be more educated both in terms of management and in terms of decision-making ability. On the other hand, the most important thing is a strong inculcation of a sense of patriotism, love for the land, loyalty to the Supreme Commander. The exchange of experience with Türkiye basically helped us to switch to a new form of education. Our teachers and military personnel have been trained in the leading military schools in Türkiye. In the near future, students from Turkey will arrive, they will study with us.”
