Georgia seeks to strengthen strategic partnership with Azerbaijan, PM says
Georgia aims to strengthen its relations with Azerbaijan, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told Azerbaijani journalists on the sdielines of the European Political Community Summit in Copenhagen.
Kobakhidze expressed satisfaction with the current excellent relations between Georgia and its neighbours, including Azerbaijan, emphasising the importance of maintaining and further developing these ties. He described the strategic partnership and strong relations as highly significant, Caliber.Az reports per local media.
The prime minister also confirmed having productive discussions with his counterparts on the sidelines of the Copenhagen meeting. He underscored Georgia's commitment to promoting peace in the South Caucasus region, viewing this effort as a core part of the country's mission in the area.
