Georgian deputy speaker urges expansion of ties with Azerbaijan

Deputy Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Levan Ioseliani has said that it is very important to develop the Georgia-Azerbaijan relations and bring them to a higher level.

He made these remarks after the meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, Report informs.

The main topic of the meeting was the issues of strategic partnership between the two countries.

“We remembered the projects that became the basis of our strategic relations and which were implemented during the presidency of Eduard Shevardnadze. I will do my best to raise the level of our relations with Azerbaijanis in Georgia and, of course, with the Azerbaijani people to the level that our countries deserve,” Ioseliani said.
