Georgian observer: All regional countries dream of president like Ilham Aliyev
International observer from Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili has said that the snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan were technically well-organised.
“Azerbaijan has again chosen a very good president. All regional countries dream of such a president; he is a real leader. I myself would vote for him, he gave freedom and territorial integrity to Azerbaijan,” Nikolaishvili said, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the survey results of Public Opinion Monitoring Centre Rey, incumbent President Ilham Aliyev received 92.6 per cent of the votes, Razi Nurullayev - 1.16 per cent, Fuad Aliyev - 0.84 per cent, Fazil Mustafa – 0.58 per cent, Gudrat Hasanguliyev - 0.46 per cent, Zahid Oruj – 0.37 per cent, Elshad Musayev - 0.11 per cent,” the message said.
The snap presidential elections were held in Azerbaijan on February 7. The Central Election Commission registered seven presidential candidates - Ilham Aliyev of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party, self-nominated candidates Zahid Oruj and Fuad Aliyev, Razi Nurullayev of the National Front Party, Fazil Mustafa of the Great Order Party, Elshad Musayev of the Greater Azerbaijan Party, Gudrat Hasanguliyev of the Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party.
