Global media outlets spotlight Azerbaijan’s fifth-anniversary Victory Parade PHOTO
The grand military parade held at Azadliq Square in Baku in honor of the fifth anniversary of the glorious Victory in the Patriotic War was at the center of attention of leading global mass media, per Azertag.
The news materials quoted the words of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, emphasising that the parade fully demonstrated the military power of the Azerbaijani army, as well as providing information about the Patriotic War.

The article emphasized that the liberation of Karabakh is of great importance for all Turkic peoples. Additionally, the publication noted Türkiye’s active support for Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani army, the heroism of Azerbaijani servicemen, and the role of national unity in achieving Victory. It was highlighted that on the territories liberated from occupation, development, peace, and tranquility now prevail.
Leading Egyptian media outlets — Al Shorouk, Al Ahram, and Cairo24 — also widely covered the military parade in Baku. The news detailed the high-ranking guests participating in the event, the military equipment demonstrated, as well as the joint participation of the armed forces of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Pakistan.
