Global messages of solidarity mark Azerbaijan’s National Day
As Azerbaijan marks its Independence Day on May 28, several countries have extended warm congratulations, highlighting both diplomatic goodwill and close bilateral ties.
Messages from Türkiye, Uzbekistan, Iran, and France were shared through official statements and social media posts, each reflecting a tone of friendship and respect for the Azerbaijani people, Caliber.Az reports.
Türkiye: "Their joy is our joy"
Türkiye reaffirmed its strong bond with Azerbaijan in a heartfelt message shared by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs on social platform X:
“Congratulations on Independence Day, dear Azerbaijan! We sincerely share the joy and enthusiasm of our brothers from Azerbaijan, because their joy is our joy and their sadness is our sadness.”
Uzbekistan: "We sincerely congratulate all our friends"
Uzbekistan also joined in the celebration. In a post shared by its Foreign Ministry, the country extended its best wishes to the Azerbaijani people:
“We sincerely congratulate all our friends in the Republic of Azerbaijan on Independence Day.”
Iran: Growth, prosperity, and regional ties
Iran’s Foreign Ministry released a formal congratulatory statement, focusing on the significance of neighborly relations and regional cooperation. The message reads:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran congratulates the people and government of the friendly and neighboring country, the Republic of Azerbaijan, on its Independence Day, and wishes for growth and prosperity for this country, and the ever-increasing development of relations between the two nations.”
France: A diplomatic note from the ambassador
France’s message came directly from its ambassador in Baku, Anne Boillon. Posting on social media, she offered a message of peace and partnership:
“Independence Day. Happy National Day to the Republic of Azerbaijan!
On behalf of the Embassy of France, I congratulate the people of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Independence Day.
I wish Azerbaijan a future filled with peace and prosperity.
Happy National Day!”
