Golden Eagle-2024: Azerbaijani servicemen share combat experience in Kazakhstan PHOTO
The opening ceremony of the joint tactical special exercises "Golden Eagle-2024" ("Altyn Qyran-2024") took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on August 20.
Azerbaijani military personnel are participating in the exercises, sharing their combat experience with their Kazakh counterparts, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Defence.
The opening ceremony featured speeches highlighting the importance of such exercises for joint planning and experience exchange. The participants were wished success and a ceremonial march of the military personnel took place before the grandstand.
These exercises are being conducted at the "Koktal" training ground in the city of Zharkent, Almaty region, Kazakhstan, as part of a joint plan signed between the defence ministries of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The "Golden Eagle-2024" exercises will focus on tactical actions involving reconnaissance operations in mountainous areas, the detection and neutralization of illegal armed formations. Azerbaijani soldiers will share their combat experience gained during the Patriotic War (Second Karabakh War) and other successful operations with their Kazakh colleagues.
