Greenpeace activists prevent unloading of Russian gas carrier in Finland

The activists of the Netherlands-based environmental organisation Greenpeace prevented a Russian gas carrier from unloading in the Finnish port of Tornio on September 17.

“Our demonstration against Russian gas imports is over. The activists halted the transportation of natural gas,” RBC-Ukraine reports, citing the organisation’s Twitter post.

The organisation said that it wants the Finnish government to stop importing Russian fossil fuels.
