Azerbaijan’s brave soldiers paved the way to victory in Karabakh step by step, writing a heroic chapter in history, Haber Global reports, marking the 108th anniversary of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

It said the army demonstrated its strength during the 2020 Karabakh war, which Azerbaijan describes as resulting in the liberation of its territories from Armenian occupation, Caliber.Az reports.

The army, established after Azerbaijan declared independence on May 28, 1918, with the participation of officers from the Ottoman Empire, is today among the strongest in the region. Having demonstrated its capabilities during the 2020 Karabakh war, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have since marked their anniversary with pride in what Azerbaijan describes as the liberation of its territories and its victory.

Military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is also of great importance. The two friendly and brotherly countries continue to expand their multifaceted partnership in military training, joint exercises, and the defense industry,” the report noted.
