Haber Global highlights Azerbaijan’s role in Organisation of Turkic States VIDEO

Turkish television channel Haber Global has aired a report highlighting Azerbaijan’s role within the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).

The segment featured remarks by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding the OTS, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

“The Turkic world is our family; we have no other family. In order to lead this family into the future, joint efforts are, of course, very important,” the Azerbaijani leader was quoted as saying.

The report also emphasised that Azerbaijan hosted the first informal summit of OTS heads of state in Shusha.

“The fact that the meeting took place in Shusha, liberated from occupation, became a symbol of solidarity among OTS countries. Following the geopolitical reality created by Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus, a new stage of cooperation in the region was confirmed,” the report said.

It also featured the importance of the 12th summit of the OTS Council of Heads of State, held in Gabala in October last year.

An informal summit of the OTS Council of Heads of State on the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development” is scheduled to take place in Turkestan on May 15 with the support of Kazakhstan.
