Hikmet Hajiyev: "History in the making between Azerbaijan and Armenia"

Azerbaijan's presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev has shared a post from the Zayed Award for Human Fraternity ceremony, which is underway in Abu Dhabi, with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan amongst the honourees.

For the record, other laureates include Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Afghan human rights and girls’ education activist Zarqa Yaftali, and the Palestinian charitable organization Taawon.

The award for the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia was granted for the signing of the “Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Inter-State Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia,” which ended the long-standing conflict between the two countries.
