Azerbaijan continues mass evacuation from Iran amid ongoing crisis UPDATED
A total of 84 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan via the Astara border crossing between 16:00 and 18:00 local time on March 9.
The evacuees included three Azerbaijani citizens, 65 Chinese nationals, three from Belarus, three from Pakistan, two from Russia, one from Germany, and seven Mexican diplomats, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

On March 9, between 14:00 and 16:00, 42 people were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan via the Astara border crossing.
Among them were 14 Azerbaijani citizens, eleven Polish diplomats, six Pakistanis, four each from China and Iran, two Canadians, and one Tajikistani national, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

On March 9, between 12:00 and 14:00, 17 Azerbaijani citizens, including 4 diplomats, were evacuated from Iran, along with 5 Pakistani citizens and 4 Chinese citizens.

Today, between 10:00 and 12:00, one citizen of the United Kingdom and one citizen of Germany were evacuated from Iran to Azerbaijan, per local media.
The evacuation was conducted via the Astara border crossing. In addition, six Iranian nationals were also safely returned to their home country.
