Hungarian PM, Turkish leader to discuss conflicts in Ukraine, Middle East in Ankara
Deputy state secretary heading the press office of the Hungarian prime minister Bertalan Havasi has said that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will discuss ways to resolve the conflict in Ukraine with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He noted that the meeting between the two leaders is scheduled for December 12 in Ankara, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
"President Erdogan and Viktor Orbán will discuss current international issues, including the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, prospects for peace, as well as several issues related to the Hungary-Türkiye relations," he said.
He also reminded that in 2023, Hungary and Türkiye elevated their bilateral relations to the level of a priority strategic partnership, and since then, their cooperation has been rapidly developing.
"The prime minister will also attend several events marking the closure of the Hungarian-Turkish Cultural Year in Ankara," Havasi added.
