Hürriyet newspaper: Attack on Nakhchivan equivalent to strike on Türkiye

An article by Turkish journalist Abdulkadir Selvi, published on March 6 in the Hürriyet, described the Iranian drone attack on Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic as effectively a strike on Türkiye.

Selvi highlighted that the attack occurred shortly after Ilham Aliyev visited the Iranian embassy to offer condolences, and he emphasised that Türkiye remains one of the leading countries supporting efforts to reach a ceasefire in the region, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

"Despite this, Iranian missiles and drones are somehow targeting Türkiye and Azerbaijan," writes Selvi, wondering whether there are forces within Iran trying to turn Türkiye and Azerbaijan against Iran.
