IMF forecasts Azerbaijan's unemployment rate to be lower than regional countries

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts that the unemployment rate in Azerbaijan in 2023 and 2024 will be 5.8 per cent.

According to Report, this is stated in the April report of the IMF World Economic Outlook.

In 2022, this indicator was 5.9 per cent.

According to the document, among the regional countries, the unemployment rate in Armenia is projected at 12.5 per cent in 2023 and 13 per cent in 2024, while in Georgia - 19.5 and 20.2 per cent respectively.
