Immigrants from Western Azerbaijan offered to be granted refugee status

Chairman of the "Community of Western Azerbaijan", MP from Azerbaijan’s Parliament Aziz Alakbarli has said that natives of Western Azerbaijan are invited to be granted refugee status.

In an interview with Report, Alakbarli noted that the bill related to the status of refugees from Western Azerbaijan should be revised.

“Currently, these people cannot use any rights and benefits. Those who want to fight for returning to their historical homeland must first obtain refugee status,” the MP added.
