INHEI chief: Agreement with BIG marks start of strategic partnership
A memorandum of understanding signed between the Baku Initiative Group (BIG) and the Institute for Advanced International Studies (INHEI) under Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs marks the start of a long-term institutional partnership, INHEI Director General Philippe Sandwidi said on Saturday, July 11.
Speaking at a press conference following the signing ceremony, Sandwidi emphasised that the agreement establishes a formal framework for cooperation between the two organisations.
“This document is the beginning of our cooperation. At present, joint activities are planned in the field of diplomatic training and in the academic sphere. In the future, we plan to expand our cooperation in other areas as well,” he said.
According to Sandwidi, the memorandum sets out initial areas of collaboration focused on capacity-building in diplomacy and academic exchange, with scope for broader engagement in the future.
