International criticism continues pouring in over Iran’s drone attacks on Azerbaijan PHOTO
Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nadezhda Neynski and Algeria’s Minister of State and Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf have held separate phone calls with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov to discuss the security situation following drone attacks carried out by Iran against Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry, cited by Caliber.Az, the sides exchanged views on the growing tensions in the region. Bayramov provided detailed information to his counterparts about the drone attacks launched by Iran against Azerbaijani territory and the current security situation.
During the conversation with the Dutch minister, Berendsen expressed concern over the developments and strongly condemned the attacks, stressing the importance of ensuring regional stability. He also thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance in facilitating the prompt evacuation of Dutch citizens.
After the phone call with Bayramov, Berendsen took to social network X to inform the public about the talks. The post in presented below.

In a separate call, Neynsky likewise condemned the attacks and expressed concern over the situation, underlining the importance of maintaining regional stability.
She also conveyed gratitude for Azerbaijan’s support in assisting the evacuation of Bulgarian citizens who had been in Iran via Azerbaijani territory.
Meanwhile, Attaf expressed concern over the developments and stressed the inadmissibility of further escalation, highlighting the importance of resolving issues through dialogue and diplomatic means in accordance with the norms and principles of international law. He also expressed solidarity with Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani side emphasized during the calls that the drone attacks constitute an unacceptable step directed against the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and informed its counterparts about the measures taken in response to the situation.
The ministers also exchanged views on prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Netherlands, Bulgaria and Algeria, as well as on other regional and international issues of mutual interest, including energy security and cooperation within international organisations.
