The International Liberation Front, formed during the first congress of movements seeking independence from territories colonized by France, has officially launched its website.
According to Caliber.Az, the front's declaration and charter were ratified during the congress held on July 17-18, with further details available at fildecof.org.
To recap, Baku hosted the inaugural Congress of Independence Movements from French-colonized territories, organized by the People's Union for the Liberation of Guadeloupe and supported by the Baku Initiative Group (BIG). The event gathered representatives from nearly 20 political parties and independence movements across French-controlled regions like Corsica, Melanesia, Polynesia, and the Caribbean and the Antilles.
Over two days, from July 17 to 18, participants unanimously agreed to form a united front against French colonialism. The congress concluded with the signing of a declaration establishing the International Liberation Front, serving as a centralized platform for anti-colonial efforts. Seventeen official representatives from French and Dutch colonies endorsed the front's charter.
