Iran condemns US strikes as "blatant war crime" Official statement by Foreign Ministry
Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned recent US strikes on several sites in southern Iran and railway bridges in the country's east, describing the attacks as a "blatant war crime."
In an official statement, the ministry accused Washington of violating international law and breaching the memorandum that ended the recent conflict between the two countries.
According to the statement, Tehran considers the US strikes a violation of the UN Charter as well as the provisions of the war-ending memorandum.
The Iranian government reaffirmed its commitment to defending the country's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.
The Foreign Ministry also accused the US administration of "military aggression, violating the agreements reached, and using incidents in the Strait of Hormuz as a pretext for carrying out the strikes."
