Iranian minister of roads and urban development arrives in Azerbaijan

Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Farzaneh Sadegh, has arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit, the Embassy of Iran in Baku announced on Telegram.

The minister was welcomed in the capital Baku by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, as well as Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports.

Sadegh will take part in the 17th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation. In addition, several meetings with senior Azerbaijani officials are scheduled.

“The agenda of this visit includes a comprehensive assessment of the current state of cooperation between the two countries, the removal of existing obstacles, and the acceleration of joint economic projects, primarily in the fields of transport, energy, trade, and cultural cooperation,” the embassy noted.
