Iran to present urban crisis management experience at WUF13 in Baku

Iran plans to examine international housing experiences and present its own expertise in urban crisis management during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Mohammad Ali Shafiee, Tehran’s deputy mayor for international relations, has stated.

He said Iran’s goal is to learn about the housing practices of other cities and countries, as well as to showcase its approaches to informal housing and urban development, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.

“We are eager to share our accumulated experience with other cities and countries participating in events in Baku and the region,” he noted.

Shafiee emphasized that Iran possesses considerable experience in crisis and emergency management under difficult conditions and is ready to share that expertise with other cities across the region.
