Iranian leader expresses gratitude to Azerbaijani counterpart for national support

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for the support extended by Azerbaijan.

According to Caliber.Az, the president of the Islamic Republic, shared the message on his X account following a conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart.

“In a conversation with my brother Ilham Aliyev, I appreciated the sympathy and support of the government and the people of Azerbaijan. Friendly and brotherly nations find each other in hard times, and the deeper the civilizational roots, the stronger this bond,” Pezeshkiaan wrote.
