Iranian MFA: Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran set to resume activities

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has said that preparations were underway for the resumption of activities of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran.

The first positive steps have been taken to resume Azerbaijan's diplomatic activity in Tehran, in particular, talks were held at the level of foreign ministers, Trend reports.

Kanaani noted that an Azerbaijani diplomatic delegation has recently arrived in Tehran to carry out preparatory works.

"Iran and Azerbaijan are unanimous in the view that political cooperation should be developed in parallel with cooperation in other fields," the spokesman said.
